About your_Korea
The insider guide to Seoul — written in Seoul, for people who just landed.
What we do
your_Korea is an independent guide to Seoul for international visitors. We write the practical, honest guides we wish existed the first time a friend asked us "so how does the subway work?" — the transit passes, the apps, the money, the food rules, and the neighbourhoods that are actually worth your afternoon.
How we work
- Practical over pretty. Every guide opens with the short answer, and answers the questions people actually ask.
- Honest. If something is overrated, overpriced or closes at 5pm, we say so.
- Kept current. Prices, hours and rules in Korea change fast. We re-check guides regularly and mark when each was last updated. If you spot something out of date, tell us — we fix it.
- Clear about money. Some links are affiliate links, and we say so. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will always be labelled. Read our disclosure.
Who we are
A small team based in Seoul. We live here, commute here, eat here and show visiting friends around here — which is exactly the perspective these guides are written from.
Say hello
Corrections, tips, partnership ideas or just a question about your trip: get in touch. And if the guides helped, the best thanks is sharing them with a friend who's heading to Seoul.
