Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: September 2026. Transparency about how your_Korea makes money.
The short version
Some links on your_Korea are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something — a theme park ticket, a tour, an eSIM — the company may pay us a small commission. It never costs you more, and it's how we keep the guides free and ad-light.
Which links
Affiliate links are mostly the "Check prices" booking boxes inside guides and itineraries, linking to travel booking platforms such as Klook, KKday, Agoda, Booking.com and Trip.com. They're marked as sponsored links in our code, and we point them out here.
How it affects what we write
- We recommend things because they're useful for your trip — not because they pay.
- Plenty of our advice (Han River picnics, convenience stores, free palaces in hanbok) earns us nothing, and we write it anyway.
- If a free option is better than a paid one, we say so.
- Sponsored content, if we ever publish any, will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
Advertising
We may show display advertising on the site in the future. Ads are served by third-party networks and are separate from our editorial recommendations. This page and our privacy policy will be updated if that changes.
